Our compensators are manufactured and anodized in the USA to the highest quality and standard. We have had no issue with either coating thus far, but we estimate the black will out last the gold after continuous abuse and use. We recommend you clean your comp when you clean your gun to maintain its luster and finish from corrosion.

Adding our compensator to your pistol, in rare circumstances, can effect your reliability and may require some fine tuning. We have ran thousands of rounds through multiple firearms in different set ups with little to no issues, but this does not mean that an issues in reliabilty can not occur. Depending on your existing recoil spring and striker spring, it may effect your slides ability to cycle. Thus far we have not had any recorded issues on tested firearms. We recommend a Qualified Gunsmith install or make any modifactions to your firearm. The Aluminum 7075 compensator will eventually wear out after years of use over thousands of rounds. It depends on the load and weight of the rounds used consistently, but we have built them to last with the best material out there.
Our set screw design wedges the compensator onto your barrel, pinching it and keeping it tight during extended use. ONLY SECURE SET SCREWS ONTO THE BARRELS SHOULDERS AND NOT THE THREADING. Depending on your exact barrel, the comp may sit flush to the slide or have a small gap. DO NOT tighten set screws onto the threading, this may cause damage to the threading.
The Arc Sparc43X is the first of the Arc Division line of compensators for compact handguns with a guide rod cover and features that are compatible with and countour the front of the Glock factory 43X and 48 slides. The Sparc43X will help you shoot flatter and faster in all situations. We offer our comp threaded in the standard 1/2×28.

I searched the web for a nice compensator for my 43x. I came across ARC's website and liked what they had. The compensator looks and fits awesome to my barrel and contours to my 43x slide flawlessly. It's well designed and makes the 43x look like it came from the factory that way. Thanks for a great and a quality compensator.
Fantastic comp for the money. Works really well. The one complaint I have is the set screw holes are not on a plain surface, but instead goes into a corner. This can cause cross threading if you’re not careful.
The Sparc43X fits the CR920 Elite perfectly and looks better than the factory comp. Runs flawlessly and noticeably reduces a little muzzle flip. Fits in an IWB G48 holster easily. 100% recommend for those of us without the X model with factory comp.
